Mastering sourdough can be tricky, but it can also be extremely simple when you know how. Angharad and Lance will teach you everything they know about achieving the perfect sourdough loaf and making sure you keep your starter alive and kicking ready for the next loaf. 

You will learn each step required to make a cracking sourdough loaf, from raw ingredients, mixing, dough handling, proofing, scoring and finally baking. 

After the 2-day course, you will feel confident enough to be able to make your own sourdough loaf with ease in your very own home. 

The course will be held at Ty Melin Bakery HQ unit, situated just outside of Pontypool (a 30 minute drive from Cardiff). On both days, the teaching day will begin at 9:30am and finish at approximately 5pm. It'll be a day packed full of hands on teaching and some theory behind what makes a great loaf and how to achieve this. All refreshments, including breakfast and lunch will be provided. 

Please bring your own bags and tupperware in order for you to be able to take home your wonderful creations.

FAQ: What time can I collect my order?

Your order will be available to collect from your chosen site from 10AM and will continue to be available until the closing time for each individual site.

How much time do I need to leave from placing the order to collection?

Please allow us 2 working days to process and make your order.

Will you have croissant bombs available online?

We make croissant bombs in limited numbers and are solely available in our Wellfield Road and Bayscape sites.
